AGC Automotive Replacement Glass (ARG) Europe’s responsibility is to ensure that future generations inherit a world that is developing sustainably. Climate change has become one of the most pressing issues for people worldwide, and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is one of the key changes that can make a difference.
AGC ARG’s primary goal is to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, driven by a transition to decarbonized energy sources. Since January 1, 2024, all ARG Europe manufacturing plants proudly source and utilize 100% renewable electricity. In order to emphasize this milestone, as of June, gradually, all windshields shipped from our production sites in Poland and Czech Republic will carry a removable sticker, captioned “Glass Made in Europe Transformed with 100% Renewable Energy”.
Furthermore, the AGC ARG environmental roadmap includes active energy consumption reduction and fostering circular economies, in order to optimize resource utilization and pioneer new products with enhanced environmental performance.
