AGC has started mass production of curved 3D cover glass for car-mounted displays – for the first time in the world.
AGC has pioneered in-car display cover glass and has been producing the flat version since 2013. It brings out the sense of luxury and design of car interiors, and its anti-reflective surface gives improved visibility and operability. This has made AGC cover glass the material of choice for car navigation systems and information panels.
Now AGC’s new curved cover glass takes vehicle interiors and car-mounted display to an even-higher level of sophistication. Strong demand from auto makers has already prompted the company to boost production capacity.
