In recent years, AGC has embraced a unique approach to our annual customer appreciation gesture: a commitment to a better future. Moving away from material gifts, we have actualized this initiative through donations to worthy causes, symbolizing our investment in a brighter tomorrow for ourselves and future generations.
Last year, we partnered with Ocean Clean Up, an NGO dedicated to removing plastic from the oceans. With their innovative solutions and ambitious goals, this non-profit aligns perfectly with our pursuit of sustainability, including our efforts in packaging waste management.
This year, in 2025, we have chosen to support Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), focusing on what can be termed "human sustainability." For over half a century, this NGO has provided medical aid to countless regions in need, from the bomb-stricken streets of Kiev and Gaza to tsunami-impacted Sri Lanka, and even to the homeless and migrants in need in France and Belgium.
From removing thousands of tons of plastic to financing blood transfusions, hundreds of medical consultations, and other essential equipment, our donations in the name of our clients are more than just a replacement for a gift—they are healing the wounds of the world and paving the way for a better future where we all win together.
While these efforts may seem modest compared to the 2 million metric tons of plastic entering our oceans annually and the global humanitarian crises, these movements are growing exponentially in both scale and influence. It's a modern-day David versus Goliath story, one that continues to inspire and challenge us to contribute to the monumental task of securing a brighter future.
