On November 20th, AGC Automotive proudly celebrated Quality Day, a testament to our steadfast commitment to excellence. This momentous event united all 12 of our factories across 11 countries, showcasing our global dedication to quality.
The day kicked off with an engaging online session, where participants gained valuable insights into our current Quality status from key OEM and ARG figures at AGC, as well as our commercial partners. Top management underscored the critical importance of quality in our operations, outlining a path to achieving even higher standards.
Guillaume Herremans, AGC ARG’s Quality Manager, emphasized the importance of preventive quality checks, addressing claims, and enhancing overall service. He highlighted not only the value of quality from AGC’s perspective but, more importantly, its significance for our customers. In an industry where quality equates to excellent service from our commercial partners to their customers, we hold direct responsibility for the satisfaction of the end customer.
Over the past year, our quality KPIs have improved by 20% in terms of claims. Our preventive actions have significantly enhanced the quality of products leaving the factory, also resulting in fewer claims and returns. This has driven higher customer satisfaction and increased efficiency.
Despite our strong quality indicators, we recognize that the pursuit of excellence is an ongoing journey. We are committed to continuously investing in our quality efforts, especially as our products become more complex. This journey, while challenging, is deeply fulfilling and involves every one of us—from HQ to the factory floor and our logistical partners.
